Josie Ho is a singer and actress known for her rock and roll edge, a characteristic that immediately resonated with me. Recognizing this distinctive aura, we decided to craft a video portrait that captures her unique vibe.
The resulting piece is a dynamic behind-the-scene video that reflects my perception of Josie. It mirrors her energy, offering viewers a glimpse into the persona behind the artist.
Process
we conducted a short interview with Josie, from which we extracted soundbites that I felt captured her essence. Josie’s unapologetic, free-spirited demeanor, coupled with her counter-culture edge, provided us with a rich tapestry of insights to wave into this video.
The space of the studio was also big enough for us to roam around for some bigger camera movements, this allowed us to create dynamic sweeping motions and interesting transitions in post-production.
