Mindly.Journal is an independent web magazine with a mission to provide insights into the thoughts and personal lives of local artists via intimate interviews. We partnered with them to create a series of mini video portraits, intended for their Instagram page, featuring prominent local artists such as Kay Tse, Terrance Lam, Yoyo Sham, and the local boy band sensation, Mirror.
Process
The production process was straightforward. We captured the artists on a photography set, focusing primarily on mood shots that evoke an artistic atmosphere.
Then, We captured a sit-down interview with each artist, which served as the backbone of the video. Overlaying the captured mood shots onto selected soundbites, accompanied by words and phrases that encapsulates each artist’s unique aura and artistic themes.
